The first SpitFire showcase at the Apollo Theater studio was a major, major SUCCESS! Thanks again and again to host Greg Mills and special guests Team Submarine for helping us bring down the sold-out house!
The October 3 showcase will feature Fay Canale, Allison Leber, Hattie Snider, special guest Cameron Esposito, and host Bill Cruz, with more special guests to be announced!
We'd also like to plug the Sunday night showcase Your Sunday Best, taking place tonight in their brand new home, Schubas, a very famous and fancy indie rock club here in Chicago. The line-up features SpitFire members Becky Garcia, Fay Canale, and Hannah Gansen, host Prescott Tolk (Comedy Central's Premium Blend), local celeb (soon to be NYC celeb) Kumail Nanjiani (Unprounceable, Zach Galifianakis's Midwest protege) and YSB co-producer Bradley Fojas (who is also SpitFire's official soundguy extraordinaire!). We're having fun now!
